(taxes and fees included)Reflecting on the opportunities and limits of open source software and on its uses in the context of artistic and cultural creation, this interdisciplinary panel opens the discussion on the alternative model that represents open source software. What are the opportunities offered by open source software? What benefits can users expect from it? What are the challenges and obstacles to its adoption?
The conversation will feature Valerian Denis, an expert in open-source and mixed-reality communication and Product Lead, as well as Pía Balthazar, Research Director at the Society for Arts and Technologie (SAT) and Navid Navab, media alchemist and audiovisual composer. Sarah Libersan, expert in experience design, will be moderating the session.
